A2Ls are a new classification of EPA- approved HydroFluoroOlefin (HFO) refrigerant blends used for automotive, residential, commercial air-conditioning, and commercial refrigeration.
- A2Ls offer a significantly lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than existing HFC refrigerant blends
- Are compliant with the AIM Act regulations
- An excellent alternative to higher GWP refrigerants and for customers that may not want to pursue the use of CO2 or R-290
- Refrigerant blends are manufactured—allowing for more availability
